King's Day - 6th January
The 12th day of Christmas (Epiphany) is a public holiday. It is an important day as the 3 Kings bring their presents to children (and some adults) on the evening of the 5th January. It is a more important festival than Christmas here.
In most of the large towns on the island there are 3 King's parades on the 5th January (usually in the evening) . The Kings ride camels and after the parade they collect the children's wish lists.
